Coronavirus Update

As many are already aware, cases of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) have been reported within the United States. Global efforts at this time are focused concurrently on containing the spread and mitigating the impact of this virus. In an effort to be as proactive as possible, we will be implementing changes to our cleaning process.

As per the CDC factsheet, “The virus is thought to spread mainly between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet) through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. It also may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.” Regardless, we believe one of the most proactive changes we can implement is switching our cleaning solution to Spartan’s Hepacide Quat II, which is one of the leading hospital-grade virucidal disinfectant cleaners, at no additional cost. Despite its’ strength, it does not give off an unpleasant medicinal smell – the SDS is available on the Spartan website.

Along with the switch to Hepacide Quat II, we have discussed with all of our cleaning crews that emphasis is to be placed on disinfecting “touch points” such as door knobs and handles, light switches, restroom fixtures and dispenser handles, banisters, and cafeteria equipment among many others. Understandably, certain high traffic facilities may determine that they want additional services – we are ready to provide those services as needed. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the options available.

Thank you for your continued business with JanNet International – we are here, as always, to provide the best possible customer service and to ensure that our clients are more than satisfied with the care and maintenance we provide to their facilities. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any concerns or questions you may have.
